Die PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON hat sich schon, und nach all diesen Jahren nicht nur in Neu-Oerlikon als Ort der Performance Kunst etabliert, sondern auch als eine wichtige Diskussionsplattform in der Stadt Zürich. Sie hat sich im öffentlichen Raum positioniert, mit dem Blick auf Austausch und Dialog zwischen KünstlerInnen und Publikum. Der unmittelbare Kontakt zwischen Kunst und Mensch wird gefördert.

Dabei sollen neue Erfahrungen und lustvolle Zugänge zum Verständnis der Performance Kunst im Vordergrund stehen, gleichzeitig soll mit einem Dialog Grenzen zwischen -dem vor allem nicht eingeweihten- Publikum und KünstlerInnen verschwinden lassen aber auch ein Werkstatt und Labor sein. Ein Labor für Kommunikation und Handlungs-Werkstatt in dem die Performance Gattung vermitteln aber auch darüber diskutiert und debattiert wird. Die PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON soll einer breiten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich sein und anders als im kulturell definierten Raum sind diese Performances im öffentlichen Raum ganz unterschiedlichen Gruppen und Gefahrenpotentialen ausgesetzt.

Kunst im öffentlichen Raum bewirkt und bewegt eine -nicht ganz alltägliche- Möglichkeit, die Welt, in der wir leben, mit anderen Augen zu betrachten, darüber zu reflektieren und darüber zu diskutieren. Dabei stellt sich auch die kulturpolitische Frage nach temporären künstlerischen Ansätzen und Interventionen. Die PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU OERLIKON ist auch eine wichtige Plattform für Performance Künstler*innen nicht nur aus der Schweiz.

Bei der PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON sind in den letzten 12 Jahren mehr als einhundertsiebzig KünstlerInnen aufgetreten. Sowohl etablierte als auch junge Leute die am Anfang ihrer Karriere stehen.

Die PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU OERLIKON richtet sich in erster Linie an alle Kunst und Kultur interessiertes Publikum, an die Wohn- und Arbeitsbevölkerung von Neu-Oerlikon sowie an Gäste und Besucher anderer Teile der Stadt und des Landes.

Die PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON findet jeweils bei jeder Witterung im Oerliker Park statt und es wird kein Eintritt verlangt.

Die PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON hat sich schon in Neu-Oerlikon als Ort der Performance Kunst etabliert und seit 12 Jahren dient der Oerliker Park als Begegnungs- und Auseinandersetzungsort sowie Künstlerplattform.

Der unmittelbare Kontakt zwischen Kunst und Mensch wird gefördert. Bei der Durchführung der PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON soll auch eine nachhaltige Auseinandersetzung im und mit dem Öffentlichen Raum stattfinden.

Die PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON soll Grosse und Kleine, junge und alte Menschen neugierig machen auf das, was sich jenseits der imaginären Grenzen befindet.

After all these years, the PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON has already established itself not only in Neu-Oerlikon as a place of performance art, but also as an important discussion platform in the city of Zurich. It has been positioned in the public space, with a view to exchange and dialogue between artists and the audience. The direct contact between art and people is also encouraged.

New experiences and lustful approaches to the understanding of performance art should be in the foreground. At the same time, a dialogue should make boundaries between the audience and artists disappear, but should also be a studio and laboratory. A laboratory for communication and acting studio in which the performance genre is presented, as well as discussed. The PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON should be accessible to a wide public and, unlike in culturally defined space, these performances in public space are exposed to very different groups and potential dangers.

Art in public space brings about and moves a – not quite everyday – possibility to look at the world in which we live with different eyes, to reflect on it and to discuss it. This also raises the cultural-political question of temporary artistic approaches and interventions. The PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU OERLIKON is also an important platform for performance artists not only from Switzerland.

More than 170 artists have performed at the PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON in the last eleven years. Both, established and young people, at the beginning of their careers.

The PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU OERLIKON is primarily aimed at an audience interested in art and culture, the living and working population of Neu-Oerlikon, Oerlikon as well as guests and visitors from other parts of the city and the country.

The PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON takes place in Oerliker Park in any weather and no entrance fee is charged.

The PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON has already established itself in Neu-Oerlikon as a place of performance art and for 12 years the Oerliker Park has been used as a meeting and discussion space as well as an artist platform.

A sustainable confrontation in the public space and with the public space will also take place during the performances of the PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON.

The PERFORMANCE REIHE NEU-OERLIKON is intended to arouse the curiosity of young and old, big and small, about what happens beyond imaginary borders.
